About Playground Love
A song written by Air, and sung by Gordon Tracks. It was written for the soundtrack of The Virgin Suicides, a film by Sofia Coppola. She is known for her eclectic yet excellent soundtracks, and for The Virgin Suicides she enlisted the help of the marvelous French duo Air. I first came in contact with the song several years ago through a "favourite song" list by Beck. Based purely off his recommendation (he's one of my favourites, you see), I listened to it and loved it immediately. It's got an amazing melody, sultry atmosphere, and dreamy lyrics that I love. One of my favourite songs of all time.
