what's silver diamond?
Silver Diamond is a manga series by Shiho Sugiura (author of another famous BL series, Koori no Mamono no Monogatari). It's currently at 10 volumes, and published by Tosuisha.

In Silver Diamond, an orphaned high schooler named Rakan comes home to find a man from another world in his garden. His name is Chigusa, and he comes from a different world that has only sand and dark skies. To the people of his world, seeing a tree or flower is nothing less than a miracle. And the most mysterious thing of all is that the person Chigusa blames for all of that is a powerful man called the Prince, who looks just like Rakan!

Chigusa quickly realizes that Rakan cannot be the Prince, because Rakan has the powers of a Sanome: one who can make seeds quickly grow and bloom when touched. Because Chigusa's world has organic technology, such as pools of water for mirrors and special plants that bloom into guns, it's absolutely vital to have a healthy environment. Unfortunately, the environment has become nothing more than a barren desert.

As the story progresses, we learn more and more about where Rakan really comes from, Chigusa's curious past and physical condition, and we're introduced to a much larger cast of characters, including a talking snake who is usually a sword. Yes, one of the very best things about Silver Diamond is that the mangaka, Shiho Sugiura, has sharp wit and excellent comedic writing skills. ^^
